ANDY LEAKE (the one and only) Sad news

IT IS SAD NEWS THAT OUR GOOD FRIEND ANDY is no longer with us.

It is clear that he will be missed by many.

Having known Andy for many years and shared some great times together it was without question one of "lifes highlights", seeing Andy at his very best with a spectacular performance at our wedding in July 2004. Myself & my Bestmans biggest worry was, "how were we going to follow that!" All the guests loved Andy; all ages. He was exactly what we wanted. I have yet to see such a well matched gathering of people(guests) and musical entertainment at a wedding.

How many wedding meals rock to Chuck Berry's "Great Balls of Fire" and "Bohemian Rhapsody" Leakey style!

There isn't one person at our wedding who hasn't asked about "who that pianist was"...

As a consequence WE ALWAYS recommended Andy to our clients; last year he did his thing at another 2 weddings in our family alone!



The Fabulous Walls restaurant (Andy's' musical home) where Andy has been resident pianist for many years now has become infamous with Andy's unique style of musical entertainment.

His passion for a mix of music, good food, good wine (obviously), & good surroundings inspired Andy to organise a Showcase for more local, homegrown talent. This had proved so popular and was virtually sold out before it was publicised. Many of the people involved in the Showcase had been taught music by Andy and he saw the Showcase as a way of building their confidence.This was no certainly no amateur show though, also with many pro's doing their thing.

ANDY with the support of Geoff Hughes and staff at the WALLS had grown The Showcase into AN EVENT.
An EVENT we were proud to be involved with.

ANDY was talented, big , curly (jew fro), clumsy, loud, polite , caring, funny, artistic, an infectious personality, lovable but most of all........

GREAT COMPANY!

WE WILL BE REMEMBERING THE GOOD TIMES..
